1. Who we are and what these terms cover

1. These terms apply to everyone who uses www.platinumtune.com ("the website"): remapping customers, dealers and anyone just looking. By using the website you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use the website.

3. When you use one of our services, the terms for that service apply as well (clause 4). Where they deal with the same thing as these terms, the terms for the service win.

2. Using this website

1. You can use the website free of charge to find out about us, ask for a quote, apply for a dealer account and get in touch.
2. Our website and services are for adults and businesses. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.
3. If any part of the website is hard for you to use, tell us and we will help you another way, for example by phone or on WhatsApp.

3. Information on this website

1. The website gives general information about us and our services. It is not professional advice about your vehicle or your business. Every car and every ECU is different, so please ask us about your own vehicle before you rely on anything you read here.
2. Any power, torque or economy figures on the website are typical figures, not promises. Results depend on the vehicle, its condition, its fuel and hardware, and any other changes made to it.
3. We don't publish prices for remapping, other work on your vehicle or tuning files. We give you a price for your own vehicle or file directly, for example on WhatsApp, and that price is not agreed until we confirm it to you. Tools, licences and accessories in our tools shop show their price; how a shop order is made and accepted is set out in our shop terms.
4. We work to keep the website accurate and current, but we can't promise that everything on it is complete or free from mistakes at all times. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

4. Our services have their own terms

1. Work at Unit 11 or with mobile remapping. Remapping and other work, at our Wembley workshop or at your address, is agreed with you directly, for your vehicle, before any work starts. Please tell your insurer about any remap. Our guide to remapping, insurance, warranty and the MOT explains more.
2. Tuning files for dealers. Our file service is for businesses and private people aged 18 or over, through a dealer account. Dealer accounts are covered by our dealer terms.
3. Our tools shop. Orders for tools, licences and accessories are covered by our shop terms.
4. Offers. Each offer or promotion has its own terms, which we give you with the offer.

5. What you must not do

When you use the website, you must not:

• use it in a way that breaks the law, or for fraud;
• try to get into the website, the servers it runs on or any system connected to it without permission, or attack it, for example by flooding it with traffic;
• upload or send viruses or any other harmful code;
• send forms or messages that are false, in someone else's name, abusive, or unsolicited advertising;
• copy large parts of the website, or collect its content with automated tools, except for search engines and similar services that index it so people can find us;
• use our name, logo or content in a way that suggests you are us, or that we work with or recommend you, unless we have agreed it in writing.

We may stop anyone who breaks this clause from using the website, and we may report it to the authorities.

6. Forms and messages you send us

1. When you send us a form or a message, please give correct details, and only share details that are yours or that you have permission to share.
2. Sending a form or a message does not create a contract. A contract is made only when we both agree a job or an order, as the terms for that service explain (clause 4).
3. When you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy also apply to your use of WhatsApp.
4. If a form doesn't send, please message us on WhatsApp or call +44 7777 370040 instead.

7. Our content and other trade marks

1. The text, drawings, photographs, design and code of the website belong to us or to the people who let us use them.
2. You may view the website, print or save pages for your own use, and share links to them. You must not copy, sell or republish our content without our written permission.
3. The Platinum Tune name and logo are ours. Please don't use them without our permission.
4. Vehicle makes and models, and the names of tuning tools and software, belong to their owners. We use them only to describe the vehicles and tools we work with. Unless we say so, we are not connected with, or approved by, those companies.

8. Links to and from this website

1. The website links to other services, such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and our social media pages. We don't control them and we aren't responsible for their content; their own terms and privacy policies apply.
2. Dealer login and portal links take you to our dealer portal, which has its own sign-in and its own privacy notice. Dealer accounts are covered by our dealer terms.
3. You may link to any public page of the website, as long as you do it fairly and legally and don't suggest a connection with us, or our approval, where none exists. Please don't show the website inside a frame on another site. We may ask you to remove a link.

9. Availability and security

1. The website is free, so we can't promise it will always be available or work without interruption. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time, for example when we update our services.
2. We take reasonable steps to keep the website secure, but we can't promise it is free from bugs or viruses. Please use up-to-date security software on your own devices.

10. Our responsibility to you

1. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
2. Consumers: we provide the website for private use. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for any loss of profit, business, business opportunity or business interruption.
3. Business users: as far as the law allows, we exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms that might otherwise be implied about the website or its content. We are not liable, whether in contract, negligence or otherwise, for any loss or damage arising from using, or relying on, the website, including loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or any indirect or consequential loss.
4. This clause is only about the website itself. What we are responsible for in a job, a file or an order is set out in the terms for that service (clause 4) and, if you are a consumer, by your legal rights.

11. Your information

We use personal information as our privacy policy explains, and cookies as our cookie policy explains. Optional cookies stay off unless you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, which is also at the bottom of every page.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and the version on this page when you use the website is the one that applies.

14. Law and complaints

1. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Business users agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
2. If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
3. Only you and we have rights under these terms.
