What it is
Can my car go back to standard?
Back to stock means writing your car's original software back to its ECU, so it runs on factory settings again. People do it before selling the car, when a lease ends, or to have it standard again.
If we remapped your car, we kept a copy of its original file before we started, so we can always put it back. Even without that copy, we can put the factory software back from our own large file database and dealer-level tools.
If someone else remapped it, tell us when you send your reg. We'll tell you what's possible for your car before you book.

How does going back to stock work?
At Unit 11, Wembley Park Business Centre, or at your door with mobile remapping: we tell you what's possible before you book, and how long it will take when we quote.
Step 1: Send your reg
Tell us whether we remapped the car or someone else did.
Step 2: Check the car
We check the car over before we touch its software.
Step 3: Your original file
If we remapped it, we use the copy we kept. If someone else did, we look for its factory software in our own file database and tell you what's possible first.
Step 4: Write and test
We write the original software back and test that the car runs as it should.
Step 5: Handover
We hand the car back on its factory settings and answer any questions.

How much does it cost to go back to stock?
There's no fixed price: we quote for your car, because the price is set by your car and its ECU, whether we hold your original file and who remapped it, if it wasn't us. Every car is different, so we don't publish prices. Send us your reg on WhatsApp and we'll quote for your car.
Can every car you remap go back to standard?
Yes, always. Every vehicle we remap can go back to standard. We keep a copy of your original file before we start, and even without it we can put the factory software back from our own large file database and dealer-level tools.
My car was remapped somewhere else. Can you still help?
Tell us when you send your reg, and who did the work if you know. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you what's possible for your car before you book.
Do I need to tell my insurer when the car goes back to stock?
If you told your insurer about the remap, tell them when the car is back to standard too.
