How buying works
How does buying a tool work?
Pay online by card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Or talk to us first on WhatsApp if you'd like a dealer price or advice on the right tool.
Step 1: Pick your tool
Open a tool's page for the full specification and what's in the box. Where a tool needs activations, tick the ones you want there.
Step 2: Pay your way
Press Buy now and pay by card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay or Google Pay, through Stripe's secure checkout. We never see your full card number. Insured delivery (by order total) is added, and you give us your delivery address and phone number.
Step 3: We confirm your order
We confirm by email or WhatsApp, send the tool and arrange any activation with the maker, or tell you how to do it.
Step 4: Send us your first read
Apply for a dealer account and send the read from your first job to our file service through the dealer portal.

Is there a dealer price?
Dealers can ask for a dealer price before buying. Ask us on WhatsApp with the tool you want, and we'll reply with the price for your account.
How do I pay?
Press Buy now on a tool. Stripe's secure checkout opens and you pay by card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay or Google Pay; we never see your full card number. The checkout shows the ones you can use. Klarna is for personal purchases only. We confirm your order by email or WhatsApp. The shop terms have the detail.
Which tool do I need?
One that fits the vehicles you work on and how you'll use it: editing files yourself, or sending your reads to a file service. Tell us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you honestly which tool and configuration fits.
Master or slave: what's the difference?
A master tool works independently and handles its own files: the KESS3 and Flex masters read and write open BIN files, and the Autotuner master handles file encryption and decryption. A slave tool works with a linked master tool, which handles its files, so it suits anyone who sends their reads to a file service. Each tool page says which it is.
Do the tools need activating?
KESS3 ships with no protocols enabled, so you need at least one protocol activation with it: tick them on the tool's page. Flex is licensed per software module. Where activation with the maker is part of your order, we arrange it or tell you how to do it. See clause 7 of the shop terms.
How much is delivery?
UK delivery depends on the order total, which is the price you pay for the goods, after any sale price: £20 for orders up to £1,000, £35 up to £2,500 and £105 over £2,500 (orders over £5,000 add 1% of the amount above £5,000, for insurance). Every parcel is tracked, signed for and insured for the full price you paid, and the checkout shows the delivery charge before you pay.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Our online checkout takes UK addresses only for now. Ask us on WhatsApp about delivery to other countries and we'll quote it.
Can I return a tool?
If you buy as a consumer at a distance, you normally have 14 days to cancel, but licences and activations are excepted once they're applied. Business customers have no legal right to cancel, though we may take back unused, unopened and unactivated tools: ask us first. Clause 8 of the shop terms explains it.
What warranty comes with a tool?
Tools come with the maker's own warranty, and the maker sets its length and conditions. Ask us before you buy and we'll tell you what applies. It is in addition to your legal rights. See clause 10 of the shop terms.
I already own a KESS v2 or K-TAG. Can I upgrade?
You may be able to. Ask us before you buy new, and we'll check what's open to you.
Do I need to buy a tool to become a dealer?
No. If you already own a tool, apply with it. If you don't have one yet, pick “None or not sure” on the application form and we'll message you on WhatsApp.
