What it is
What do diagnostics and coding cover?
Fault finding. When a warning light comes on or the car isn't running right, we scan its control units, read what the faults mean and check the likely causes on the car. Then we tell you what we found and what it needs.
Coding. Setting up a new part so the car recognises it, such as new injectors or tyre pressure sensors, and switching on features your car already has the hardware for. Tell us what you'd like coded and we'll check your car supports it.
Fault finding and coding only: we find the cause of a fault and put it right, or tell you what it needs.

How much is a diagnostic check?
There's no fixed price: we quote for your car, because the price is set by your car, the fault, or what you'd like coded and the control units involved. Every car is different, so we don't publish prices. Send us your reg on WhatsApp and we'll quote for your car.

Yes. We scan the car, look at what the fault means and check the likely causes. Then we tell you what we found and what it needs, before any work is done.
What is coding?
Coding changes settings in the car's control units. It sets up a new part so the car recognises it, such as new injectors or tyre pressure sensors, or switches on a feature the car already has the hardware for.
Will you fix the fault as well?
If it's work we do, we quote for it before we start. If it needs a repair we don't do, we tell you what we found so your garage can fix it.
Do I need a remapped car?
No. Diagnostics and coding are for any car, tuned or standard.
Can you do diagnostics and coding at my home or work?

How long does it take?
We tell you how long it will take when we quote, so you can plan your day: it depends on the car and the work. Some faults take longer to trace than others.
