How does mobile remapping work?
From your first message to the handover, the same checks as at Unit 11. You keep your car, and your original file is kept safe.
Step 1: Reg and postcode
Send your reg on WhatsApp, with the postcode where the car will be.
Step 2: Quote and slot
A tuner replies with a real quote for your car and we confirm a slot.
Step 3: Check and back up
At your address we check the car over and keep a copy of its original file.
Step 4: Tune, test, hand back
We write the file, test that it runs as it should and hand the car back. Aftercare is at Unit 11.

What affects the price of a remap?
No two quotes are the same, because no two cars are.

- Some are read through the diagnostic port; others need a bench read.

- Automatics and DSGs can be tuned too.
- The stage
- Stage 1 on a standard car, or Stage 2 with supporting hardware.

Is a mobile remap the same as one at the workshop?
Yes. The same tuners, the same tools and the same checks: we check the car over, keep a copy of its original file, tune it and test it. If a job suits the workshop better, we'll tell you when we quote.
Which areas does mobile remapping cover?
Homes and workplaces anywhere in London. Send your postcode with your reg and we'll confirm a slot. The areas we cover.
What do you need at my address?
Space to open the doors and the bonnet and work beside the car, and somewhere close by for us to park. If space is tight, tell us when you book and we'll talk it through, or bring the car to Unit 11 instead.
Can you come to my workplace?
Yes, as long as we can park close to your car and work beside it. Check with your workplace that it's fine for us to work in the car park.
Does a mobile remap cost more?
We quote for your car and your address together on WhatsApp, so you know where you stand before you book. The quote depends on your car and engine, the ECU it uses, the gearbox, the stage you want, the car's condition and any previous modifications. Send your reg and postcode on WhatsApp for a real quote.
Do I need to tell my insurer?
Yes. Please tell your insurer about any remap. A remap is a modification, and your insurer needs to know to keep you covered, so let yours know before the work is done. How to tell your insurer.
Can you put my car back to standard?
Yes, always. Every vehicle we remap can go back to standard. We keep a copy of your original file before we start, and even without it we can put the factory software back from our own large file database and dealer-level tools.
How long does it take?
We tell you how long your car will take when we quote, so you can plan your day: it depends on the car and the work. Gearbox and Stage 2 work can take longer.
