New dealer offer terms

1. Who can get it

1. The offer is for new dealers: a UK-based dealer (a business or a private person) whose Platinum Tune dealer account is approved before it tops up, and who has not topped up the account before.
2. It is for dealers who don't buy a tool from us. Our tools and starter kit come with their own free starter credits, and those are your offer instead: you get one or the other, not both. If you could get either (for example, you top up and then buy a tool from us), we give you the one worth more and tell you which.
3. It is not open to people who work for Platinum Tune, their families, or agencies working for us.

2. Your first top-up

1. The offer applies to your first top-up only: your first payment to add credit to your dealer account, of £50 or more in one payment. Smaller payments can't be added together to reach £50.
2. The payment must clear. If it is refunded, reversed or charged back, the free credit is removed too.

3. The free credit: how and when we add it

1. We add £50 of free file credit to your dealer account, once. It is £50 whatever the size of your first top-up.
2. We add it by hand, normally within two working days of your payment clearing, and tell you on WhatsApp or by email when it is there. If it isn't there after two working days, message us and we'll put it right.
3. It doesn't expire while your account is open.
4. You use it like credit you paid for, at your usual dealer rates, for our tuning file services only. Files use the credit you paid for first, then free credit. It can't be used for tools, hardware, activations, subscriptions with other companies, training or delivery.

4. Not cash

1. Free credit has no cash value. It can't be exchanged for money, withdrawn, refunded, paid out or moved to another account.
2. If your account closes, any free credit you haven't used ends with it. Credit you paid for is dealt with under our dealer terms.

5. One per dealer

1. The offer is one per dealer: one per business or private person, not per account, email address or site. People who work for the same business count as one dealer.
2. Accounts that share a company number, trading name, tax number, premises, bank account or main contact count as one dealer. A new account opened to get the offer again doesn't qualify.

6. Ending or changing the offer

1. There is no closing date. We can end or change the offer by giving at least 14 days' notice on this page. The notice runs from the day the new version appears here.
2. Ending or changing the offer never takes away free credit we have already added to your account.
3. If we reasonably believe the offer is being misused (for example duplicate accounts, false details, or a business topping up and then asking for a refund), we can hold back or remove the free credit. We'll tell you why, and you can ask us to look at it again. A private person who cancels a top-up within 14 days under our dealer terms (clause 13) is not misusing the offer. Files use the credit you paid for first (clause 3.4), so we pay back only the credit you paid for and haven't used, and the free credit you haven't used goes with the top-up, even if there is nothing to pay back (clause 2.2).
4. The version at the top of this page shows the terms in force. Version 1.1 applies from the day it first appears on this page, and replaces version 1.0 (effective 15 September 2026). A dealer whose account was approved before then, and whose earlier top-ups were all under £50, can still get the offer on their first top-up of £50 or more in one payment, as version 1.0 allowed. Earlier versions are available on request.

7. Check your tool first

1. Free credit doesn't mean your tool works with our files, is activated, or is free of a licence lock to another supplier.
2. Ask us to check your tool before you top up. It costs nothing.

8. General

1. We use the details you gave when you applied to run your dealer account and this offer, as our privacy policy explains.
2. Our dealer terms apply to everything else, including every file. If they and these terms differ about the free credit, these terms apply.
3. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide any dispute. If you are a private person living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
